track & field

The further along we get in school, the more opportunities we discover that are avaiable to us. Katie was invited to represent her school in the district wide track and field competition. She and 2 other girls from her school qualified for the obstacle course. They had the traditional running events, but the field events included a softball throw and frisbee toss, in addition to the long jump. It was fun to cheer for all our friends from ours and other schools too!

Katie and Emily have been friends since they were 2. They get along great (most of the time) and are always ready for a good BFF pose. Our families cross paths often (church, neighborhood, school, scouts, etc.) and we are lucky to have them in our lives!
