The Magik Theater comes up with some pretty unique renditions of famous scripts. This evening was Shakespeare's "The Tempest". Originally, the story takes place on an island and involves a shipwreck. Well, the version we saw was set in the future, in outer space, with rocket ships. Fortunately, Katie has a Shakespeare for Children book and had recently read the story, so she was able to explain the basic plot to me before the event. I muddled through and got the gist of it.
The weather was nice, the company was nice, and I look forward to next year's presentation!
