Last month, Katie went on her first hunting expedition with Dad. Their destination was Grandma and Grandpa's place out near Brady. She received a bb gun for her birthday back in October, but hadn't really had a chance to use it until now.
She was very eager to "get a deer" with Daddy. My hesitation was that she would be bored to death during the sitting and waiting and watching part. They were up bright and early, but as soon as they got settled in the blind, she leaned over on Daddy and fell back asleep. It wasn't too long before Daddy nudged her awake to see their target. Katie was able to soak up the entire experience. Won't be too long before she's able to bring home her own!

I'm not so sure what to say about the hunting part :-) But I'm glad she is so into hanging out with her dad and enjoying his hobby! I'm sure he loved it even more than she did!
